Live Action Mulan Pushed Back to 2020

Fans of Walt Disney’s Mulan may have been excited as a live action adaptation was previously announced for a November 2, 2018 release, but a recent announcement from the House of Mouse reveals that these fans may have to wait a little bit longer to see the heroine in live action. According to the announcement, the live action Mulan reimagining has been moved to March 27, 2020. No other changes to the film has been announced, and it is confirmed that Chinese actress and singer Liu Yifei will still play the lead.

Walt Disney has also removed an Untitled DisneyToon Studios, which was originally dated for an April 12, 2019 releast, from their slate as well as a project titled “Noelle / Nicole.” Which was previously dated November 8, 2019.

Aside from Mulan, another Disney-related project has been confirmed to have changed its release date – Avengers: Infinity War, has been moved up a week to April 27 this year. We get our fix of MCU crossover a week earlier. So it’s not all bad news.
