Louis C.K.’s Gravity Falls Role to Be Re-Dubbed
By now, most people who follow celebrity news are already aware of Louis C.K.’s public admission of sexual misconduct, after the New York Times published the story of five women who were allegedly targeted by said sexual misconduct. The fallout of the scandal resulted in many of Lous C.K.’s projects being cancelled or put on indefinite hold, including his own TBS cartoon. But the repercussions do not end there, as The Hollywood Reporter has recently reported that the comedian’s role in Disney XD’s popular Gravity Falls, the Horrifying Sweaty One-Armed Monstrosity, will be re-dubbed.
“The role was rerecorded approximately one month ago and new versions of three episodes are now on the Disney XD schedule around the world,” a Disney Channel spokesperson told EW. “Series creator and executive producer Alex Hirsch is now credited as playing the character.”
Louis C.K. was also dropped from the sequel to The Secret Life of Pets, where he originally voiced the character named Max.
