WATCH – Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite Story Trailer


We’re getting closer to the release of Capcom’s latest and greatest installment in their Marvel VS franchise (which sadly took a long break after their license for the Marvel IP expired), Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite. And as a way for further promoting the release, the publisher has unveiled a new story trailer that also showcases many of the playable characters, including the previously confirmed Jedah (from the Darkstalkers/Vampire franchise), and Marvel characters Dormammu, Firebrand, and Ghost Rider.

OF course, it’s a given that story is not the main selling point of a fighting game. But in the case of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, it is still nice to have some sort of context as to why all of these different characters from different realities and timelines are meeting (and beating the crap out of) each other. The story trailer also shows how they interact both verbally and through combat.
