Masha and the Bear Joins Universal Kids’ Lineup

The massively popular CG animated comedy series from Russia, Masha and the Bear, continues to make waves across the globe. The latest notch on its belt is its addition to NBCUniversal’s preschool TV network, Universal Kids.

Masha and the Bear is a welcome addition to Universal Kids’ programming lineup, and not a surprising one either as Masha and the Bear already managed to garner a massive amount of views on Youtube even before it was translated to English. The series and its two spin-offs has already managed a collective view count of more than 26 billion, with the episode “Recipe for Disaster” being considered as the 6th most watched Youtube video of all time with over 2.45 billion views. Currently, the show continues to find new fans while airing on Universal Kids from Monday to Friday at 6 PM.
