Masha and the Bear’s 2nd Season Makes Its Way to UK Via Cartoonito
The hit Russian animated series Masha and the Bear will be making its way to the United Kingdom as the preschool channel Cartoonito has acquired the second season of the show, riding on the momentum of the first season that the channel is still airing.
Masha and the Bear was created by Oleg Kuzovkov in 2008, and focuses on the young girl Masha and the titular bear, who has become her adoptive father of sorts. The precocious and mischievous young Masha frequently gets into trouble and it is up to the bear to put a stop to things, usually with hilarious consequences.
Masha and the Bear is currently airing in more than 100 countries, including France, Germany, Latam, Italy, Portugal, Spain, South Korea, Indonesia, and others.
