Masha and the Bear’s Youtube Channel Reaches 2 Billion Views
Fans of the Russian CG animated comedy short series Masha and the Bear should celebrate, as Animaccord Animation Studio’s popular series has reached a couple of Youtube milestone recently. The first one is that the season 1 episode “Recipe for Disaster” has already received more than 2 billion views on Youtube.
Next, the same video managed to rank fifth in the list of the most viewed videos of all time on Youtube, ranking alongside popular music videos from singers such as Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars, and Taylor Swift. Recipe for Disaster is the only animated video that managed to rank in the top 10 most viewed videos of all time.
For the uninitiated, Masha and the Bear follows the adventures of a retired circus bear who lives in the woods, whose quiet new life is thrown into chaos when he meets the mischievous little girl named Masha, who can’t seem to keep herself out of trouble. Bear serves as a fatherly figure who does his level best to keep his new friend out of harm, often ending up as the poor victim of Masha’s misadventures.
