MAV TV Gets Crash Canyon
US Cable broadcaster MAV TV will be debuting Breakthrough’s prime time animated series Crash Canyon, which will allow the show to reach 45 million homes via MAV TV’s affiliates, such as Comcast, Time Warner, and the Dish Network.
Crash Canyon is developed by Joel Cohen (The Simpsons) and co-produced by Shaw Rocket Fund and Teletoon Canada. The debut is scheduled to premiere in August as part of MAV TV’s primetime comedy line up.
Crash Canyon follows the adventures (or misadventures) of the Canadian Wendell Family who accidentally drove off a cliff and found themselves trapped in a canyon with a handful of other oddball characters.
“MAV TV has successfully created impressive brand recognition for its unique mix of cutting-edge programming. We are delighted to introduce American audiences to Crash Canyon as part of the network’s prime time line-up,” said Nat Abraham, Breakthrough’s president of distribution.”
