Media I.M. to Distribute Sunny Bunnies

Media I.M., a London-based content distribution company has closed license deals with Disney Junior for the animation series Sunny Bunnies in numerous Asia-Pacific markets and Canal Panda in Portugal. In January, the company signed its distribution agreement with Sunny Bunnies’ creator Digital Light Studio (Belarus).

The CG-animated Sunny Bunnies is aimed at kids ages 4-7, and launched in CIS and Russia in December 2015. It has now been chosen by Disney Junior Southeast Asia, New Zealand and Australia, with the channels taking exclusive pay-TV rights for sixteen Asia-Pacific territories. In August, the series will debut across the region.

The Sunny Bunnies follows five beaming balls that can emerge anywhere as long as there’s a source of light, whether be it sunshine or moonlight. In every episode, the mischievous creatures bring their games and fun to various locations – a sports stadium, a circus, a park, getting on playful adventure and spreading happiness and laughter.
Aside from licensing Sunny Bunnies for its domestic market in Portugal, Canal Panda, a preschool-targeted cable channel has also acquired rights for the show in Portuguese-speaking PALOP regions in Africa.
