Megaman 7 to 10 Coming to Consoles and PC via Mega Man Legacy Collection 2
With the first iteration of the Mega Man Legacy Collection being largely successful in multiple platforms, it is not surprising that Capcom is going at it again with Mega Man Legacy Collection 2. This time around, the compilation will consist of Mega Man 7 (1995), Mega Man 8 (1996), Mega Man 9 (2008), and Mega Man 10 (2010). The collection is priced at $19.99 both digital and retail, and will be available worldwide on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on August 8.
Some of the features of the game (which are for the most part ports that aim to replicate the feel of the originals by default) include new optional features that could make the game easier for new players, such as the Extra Armor option that reduces damage and a checkpoint saving system. Hardcore players who don’t find the originals too difficult, on the other hand, can check out the remixed stages and the Challenge Mode.
Aside from the new modes, Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 also includes a music player and a gallery that consists of production art, sketches, dev materials, and concepts.
