Mixed Nutz Makes its Way to Amazon Prime Video
A new animated series from Big Bad Boo Studios, titled Mixed Nutz, has recently launched on Amazon Prime Video. This makes the series accessible to more than 100 million Prime members in the US alone. Mixed Nutz initial offering will consist of 13 x 30 minute episodes targeted towards a Gap Age audience of 5 – 8.
Mixed Nutz follows a group of kids consisting of njay, the Bollywood dreamer from Mumbai; Babak, the self-conscious kid from Iran; Damaris, the superstitious bookworm from Cuba; Jae, the hardworking and driven athlete from Korea; and Adele, the eco-friendly inventor from Australia — through their daily lives in Dyver-city as they learn about each other’s similarities and differences.
The series already began airing on 15 PBS channels such as KCET SoCal, KCOS13 Texas, MindTV and Mhz Worldview; Persian-language channel Gem TV; RTP Portugal; and Shaw TV Canada, among others. Amazon Prime Video will help the show reach additional territories on demand, including Japan, Germany, and the U.K.
