Monster Animation has recently announced the appointment of Monster Entertainment as distributors of their hit animated shows Fluffy Gardens and Punky, both of which debuted at MIP Junior last year.
Both Fluffy Gardens and Punky were formerly distributed by Target Entertainment, until Target entered administration last month, which resulted in the rights reverting to Monster Animation. Monster Entertainment will be attending the MIPTV in a position of conducting ongoing business, but Punky will still be represented by Target ex CEO Alison Rayson in the United Kingdom.
Fluffy Gardens is an 80×7 preschool series that has been sold in over 100 countries and translated to as many as 20 languages. Punky is a 20×7 preschool series that stars a little girl with Down syndrome, making it one of the very first kids’ show to teach awareness towards the subject. It has already been sold since the last MIPCOM to YLE, HOP, DR, TVNZ, and RTE.
