Namco Bandai to Launch Compilation of Classic Shonen Jump Games on 3DS

J-Legend-Biography

This coming November 7, Namco Bandai will be releasing a bunch of classic 8 and 16 bit games based on Shonen Jump properties wrapped up in a nice little collection for Japanese 3DSes. Dubbed the “Bandai Namco Games Presents J Legend Biography,” the collection will include such luminaries as Dragon Ball and Saint Seiya.

These will be straight ports, so don’t expect none of that HD or 3D mumbo jumbo. You will be playing these games the way we played them back in our day, and get the heck out of our porch!

The titles included in the collection are Dragon Ball: Mystery of Shenlong (AKA Dragon Power on NES), Saint Seiya: The Golden Legend, Saint Seiya: The Golden Legend Final Chapter, Charge! Men’s Private School, and Go! Go! Ackman 3. Don’t be sad that they won’t be getting any bells and whistles, as they will come with a digital manual and a nifty zoom function. The set will retail for ¥4,980 ($51).
