Nelvana Gets New Licensees for Franklin and Friends

Corus Entertainment’s Nelvana has recently added two new licensing agents for their hit preschool property Franklin and Friends. German-speaking territories will be handled by Euro Lizenzen while Turkish territories will be handled by FILMA. Both Euro Lizenzen and FILMA will be at the upcoming Licensing Expo in Las Vegas this month in order to present Franklin and Friends along with their other respective licenses.

For the uninitiated, Franklin and Friends is a Canadian CG animated series based on Paulette Bourgeois’ popular line of Franklin the Turtle children’s books. It focuses on the titular turtle and his baby sister Harriet (a new character for the adaptation), and many of the original friends from the original series – Bear, Fox, Rabbit, Beaver, Goose, Skunk, and even Snail. The series focuses on special themes such as mysteries, woodland events, and outdoor activities.
