Nelvana introduces Soft’n Slo Squishies shorts
Toronto-based Nelvana Enterprises have entered into a partnership with the Halifax toy company ORB to promote the Soft’n Slo Squishies line of collectibles. The agreement will see the animation studio handle global licensing representation for the brand, as well as produce 10 digital shorts. Licensing plans for the brand include apparel, sleepwear, accessories, novelty and gift, home décor, and publishing.
The first wave of these shorts went live on March 30th at 9AM eastern on the Treehouse Direct YouTube Channel. They’re also being uploaded to the official Soft’n Slo Squishies channel. New episodes are added weekly.
They’ll also air on YTV in Canada as part of their daily rotation of shorts. The first is scheduled for Wednesday, April 11th at 11:56 AM, with additional Soft’n Slo Squishies shorts airing throughout the month in the same slot.

ORB has already released over 400 different products for the line and plans to introduce over 600 more this year.
