Nerd Corps Entertainment to Release a New Slugterra App

Nerd Corpose Entertainment will be releasing a new game app based on the hit animated TV series Slugterra called Slug it Out! The app will be available on iOS (iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch) starting this Thursday, December 13, 2012 in the US and Canada.

Slug it Out! allows players to head to the underground world of Slugterra, where Eli Shane is trying his darndest to collect the little slug creatures and use them in battle against a group of villains and the evil Dr. Blakk. Each slug has a unique power and can transform into a powerful battle beast when fired from a blaster.

The Slugterra animated series is currently airing on Disney XD. A toyline will be debuting in spring 2013 courtesy of Jakks Pacific. Additionally, several other key Slugterra licensees will roll out merchandise beginning in 2013.
