Bandai Namco has just unveiled a new trailer for the upcoming anime-inspired JRPG, Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom. The trailers released for the game so far tend to showcase specific locations in the game, and this new trailer doesn’t have any intent to break form. This time around, the trailer features the country Hydropolis. As the name implies, this location is water-themed. You can check out the trailer below:
For those not in the know, the Ni no Kuni franchise is notable for its use of visuals that emulate the look and feel of Studio Ghibli films, with scenes from the game (at least the current gen ones) looking very much like a scene from an anime to the untrained eye. The latest iteration, Revenant Kingdom, is also notable for being the first one to come to the PC platform via Steam. Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom will be simultaneously released for the PS4 and PC on March 23.
