New Resident Evil: Vendetta Trailer Heralds US Screening
If you are getting paranoid that the latest Resident Evil CG animated film, Vendetta, will be meant only for our Japanese friends’ eyes, you will be happy to know that a new trailer has been released, along with confirmation from Fathom films will be coming to the West in on June 19.
Resident Evil: Vendetta is the third in the line of the CG-animated Resident Evil films, which unlike the Milla Jovovich-driven live action films, are more closely inspired by Capcom’s long-running line of survival horror and action horror games. Resident Evil: Vendetta will be shown at theaters across the US on June 19, and will have special airings that include behind the scenes footages and a special introduction that features the cast. Moviegoers can choose from 7 PM and 10 PM (local time) showings.
The English-language cast of Resident Evil: Vendetta includes Matt Mercer as Leon S. Kennedy, Kevin Dorman as Chris Redfield, and Erin Cahill as Rebecca Chambers. The film was written by Makoto Fukami (Psycho Pass), directed by Takanori Tsujimoto (Bushido Man), and produced by Marza Animation Planet with executive producer Takashi Shimizu (The Grudge).
