New Sengoku Basara TV Anime, Judge End, Scheduled for This Year


It was recently confirmed that the latest TV anime adaptation of Capcom’s video game series Sengoku Basara, tited Judge End, is already being developed. The franchise has already had two prior anime adaptations, which aired in 2009 and 2010 respectively, as well as one feature film in 2011. The latest anime series will help support the PS3 game Sengoku Basara 4, which was released last January 23, 2014.

Sengoku Basara: Judge End’s story is set in the Battle of Sekigahara, which is the same story told in Sengoku Basara 3 and is loosely based in the real history of Japan around 1600, notable for being one of the most famous battles between the eastern and western armies.

More details may be revealed at Nihon TV’s panel at Anime Japan 2014 on March 22.
