New Thomas & Friends TV Special Coming to Discovery Kids LatAm
The popular blue tank engine, Thomas, will be gracing Latin America with another TV movie as the TV special Thomas & Friends: The Great Race will be premiering exclusively on Discovery Kids Latin America along with the latest series 20 of the Thomas & Friends series throughout the month of December. This marks the eighth CGI season of the show on Discovery Kids, and will have all new episodes in Spanish and Portuguese language specially for Latin American fans.
Thomas & Friends: The Great Race will run for 60 minutes and will include the most songs ever featured in a Thomas movie special, as everybody’s favorite blue engine goes on an exciting adventure at the Great Railway Show. Along the way, he gets to meets new interesting friends from all over the world – India’s Ashima, Belgiums’ Axel, China’s Yong Bao, Russia’s Ivan, France’s Etienne, Italy’s Gina, Australia’s Shane and Latin America’s Raul (Brazil) and Carlos (Mexico).
The movie first had a theatrical premiere in Mexico last October, with over 30 cinemas nationwide embracing the occasion, one red carpet premiere even featured the celebrity musician, Leonardo de Lozanne.
