A new trailer has been released to The LEGO Movie’s sequel, aptly titled The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part. The second iteration of the CG animated comedy property is set after the events of Taco Tuesday, which left the LEGO world devastated. This new LEGO dystopian world finds minifigs being forced to toughen up just to survive – except for protagonist Emmet, who is still his usual optimistic everyman self.
The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part features the return of the heroes of Bricksburg. They will have to once again save their city, but this time from a new threat: LEGO DUPLO invaders from outer space, who can wreck things faster than they can build it. It is now up to Emmet, Lucy, Batman and the rest of the gang to defeat these agents of chaos using nothing but their courage, creativity, and Master Building skills.
Returning voice stars Chris Pratt (Emmet), Elizabeth Banks (Lucy/Wyldstyle), Will Arnett (Batman), Nick Offerman (MetalBeard), Alison Brie (Princess Unikitty), Charlie Day (Benny the Spaceman), Channing Tatum (Superman) and Jonah Hill (Green Lantern) are joined by Tiffany Haddish (Queen Whatevra Wanabi), Stephanie Beatriz (Sweet Mayhem) and Arturo Castro (Ice Cream Cone).
