New Yu Yu Hakusho Mobile Game to Feature Original Anime VAs
Japanese social game company KLab and AXEL GameStudio have recently announced a new mobile game based on the iconic shonen manga/anime franchise Yu Yu Hakusho, which made waves in the 90s with its action-packed story featuring powerful spirit detectives and demons (and is also one of the franchises that popularized the alphabetical power level ratings.) The game has been announced and given the official title Yu Yu Hakusho 100% Maji Battle.
Another boon to fans of the franchise is the announcement that the four voice actors who played the main characters in the TV anime adaptation will be reprising their roles for the game. The confirmed four are: Nozomu Sasaki (50/as Yusuke Urameshi), Megumi Ogata (52/as Kurama), Nobuyuki Hiyama (50/as Hiei), and Shigeru Chiba (63/as Kazuma Kuwabara).
The game, which helps celebrate the TV anime’s 25th anniversary, will feature SD characters that take part in intense battles. The players are tasked with forming their own dream team consisting of five members, and battle with other players’ teams using sRPG mechanics. Unfortunately, release date for Yu Yu Hakusho 100% Maji Battle has not been given yet.
