NFL Star Athletes to Voice Their Animated Versions in NFL Rush Zone Draft Special
The upcoming one-hour special from NFL Rush Zone: Guardians Unleashed will feature New York Jets’ Nick Mangold, Kansas City Chiefs’ Eric Fisher, Washington Redskins’ Robert Griffin III, NFL legend Michael Irvin and Cincinnati Bengals’ Cris Collinsworth voicing animated versions of themselves as they help defend Earth from devastation.
Titled “Knights of the Sky,” the one hour draft special has Hero Ish and his friends getting help from the aforementioned NFL athletes, who have come to lend their help to the Rusherz when it is neededthe most. The special will air on Wednesday, May 7 at 8:30 pm ET on Nicktoons and Saturday, May 17 at 8:00 am ET on the NFL Network.
NFL RUSH ZONE: Guardians Unleashed, the third installment of the Emmy Award-nominated series, continues the journey of Ishmael (Ish) and his hero friends, the Guardians, on their quest to protect the NFL and world from new and familiar villains. The 20-episode series, co-produced by Nickelodeon and the NFL, is based on NFL RUSH ZONE, the NFL’s online world for kids. Featuring an assortment of NFL players and coaches, NFL RUSH ZONE: Guardians Unleashed airs regularly Wednesdays at 8:30 p.m. (ET) on Nicktoons and Saturdays at 8:00 a.m. (ET) on NFL Network.
