Fresh off the successful premiere of its first season on Nick Jr., the new animated preschool series Rainbow Rangers has just had its second season greenlit by Nickelodeon. The upcoming second season will consist of 52 x 11 minute episodes.

Shelly Hirsch, CEO & Founder of Beacon Media, the largest children’s media buying service in the U.S., said, “Rainbow Rangers showed strong appeal from the moment it went on air. We believed it would be a hit, and believe it has a long future as a successful program and robust and successful line of consumer products.”
Aside from Nick Jr., Genius Brands also started selling the series internationally. The show’s sterling performance in the US allowed Genius Brands to open an office in London in order to accommodate growing global demand. The show consistently ranks top among kids aged 2 to 5 and 6 to 11, and drawing in as many boys as girls.
