Octopus’s Garden to Be Turned into Animation

SuperProd, a French animation developer and producer is collaborating with Simon & Schuster, Startling Music and Universal Music Publishing for a television adaptation of the book Octopus’s garden, which is based on the popular song written and performed by Ringo Starr for the 1969 album named Abbey Road, and illustrated by Ben Cort (Aliens Love Underpants).

According to SuperProd’s Clément Calvet and Jeremie Fajner, they are exceptionally pleased and proud to work on the great book and music. Ringo Starr’s evergreen song and Ben Cort’s excellent illustrations are a great setting for telling their animated stores. In addition, they are thrilled to work with such wonderful talents and major partners in the book publishing and music industries.

SuperProd will present the project at MIPTV on April while Superights will represent international rights to the Octopus’s Garden animated program.
