NAMCO Bandai Games Inc., together with Arad Productions and 41 Entertainment LLC, has announced that they have awarded US TV broadcast rights to Disney XD for a new CG-animated action comedy series that focuses on videogame icon Pac-Man.
Tentatively titled Pac-Man – The Adventure Begins, the series consists of 26 x 22 minute episodes with the first one scheduled for a fall 2013 airing. The series uses stereoscopic 3D and is exec produced by Marvel’s Avi Arad (Spider-Man for Sony Pictures, Iron Man for Paramount, Hulk for Universal and Fantastic Four and X-Men for 20th Century Fox) and Rick Ungar (Biker Mice from Mars for New World, X-Men Evolution for Marvel and Legend of the Dragon for BKN).
