Pip Ahoy! Sails to Channel 5’s Milkshake in June


Cosgrove Hall Fitzpatrick Entertainment’s much awaited children’s animated series, Pip Ahoy!, will be making its way to Channel 5’s Milkshake this coming June 12. The series will consist of 52 x 11 episodes that focus on the adventures of an eager happy-go-lucky young pup named Pip, along with his best friend Alba the Kitten as they go on exciting and colorful adventures in the enchanting seaside resort of Salty Cove.

Pip Ahoy! Is being produced in the UK via CHF’s new state-of-the-art studio in Didsbury, Manchester. The series boasts of a voice cast list that includes Sir David Jason (Danger Mouse, Count Duckula, Wind in The Willows), Teresa Gallagher (The Amazing World of Gumball, Octonauts, Noddy), Emma Tate (Moshi Monsters , Horrid Henry,The Jungle Book series) and Jimmy Hibbert (Danger Mouse, Roary the Racing Car and Toby’s Travelling Circus).

Jessica Symons, Head of Children’s at Channel 5 says: “We are very excited to be launching the first new show from CHF Entertainment. There is a great deal of British heritage in the company and Pip Ahoy! features an all-star cast from an all-star studio. The show fits perfectly into our portfolio of children’s programmes and is a great asset to our week day schedule. I am sure the Milkshake audience will take Pip and his friends to their hearts.”

Simon Hall, managing director of CHF Entertainment comments, “We are delighted to be working with Channel 5 on the first animated series to come out of our studio. Pip Ahoy! uniquely evokes a special time and places for children and parents – summer adventures by the sea.”

The first 13 episodes have been delivered, with all 52 to be ready by March 2015. Monster Entertainment is handling international sales.
