China’s Grand Entertainment and New Zealand’s Pukeko Pictures have just teamed up in order to collaborate on the new 3D animated/puppet preschool TV series called Apple Dog’s Adventure. The 200×10 series has already been pre-bought by Kaku Satellite TV (China), and will be seen on CCTV (China) as well as other channels in the region. Apple Dog’s Adventure’s first 52 episodes are all scheduled to air in the first half of 2013.
Apple Dog’s Adventure focuses on the adventure of a small dog that owns a magical apple, which grows on the end of his tail. The stories come with lessons about living and playing safely.
Pukeko Pictures and Grand Entertainment will also collaborate with the Animation School of the Beijing Film Academy in order to establish the International Animation Technology Joint Research Center, which will promote the development of animated projects. On the heels of their success with the Pukeko Pictures’ TV series, The WotWots, Grand Entertainment is also producing the educational app, Love To Learn With The WotWots.
