Radical Sheep to Develop a Fangbone! Third-Grade Barbarian Cartoon

Canadian studio Radical Sheep Productions (Stella and Sam, Yub Yubs, The Big Comfy Couch) has recently acquired the rights to the graphic novel series Fangbone! Third-Grade Barbarian, which was written and illustrated by Goodnight Goon and the Runaway Mummy’s Michael Rex. Under the deal, Radical Sheep will be developing a new K6 to 11 targeted animated series based on the property.

Fangbone! Third-Grade Barbarian follows the story of the eponymous nine year old barbarian warrior from Skullbania, who finds himself transported to third grade at the Eastwood Elementary in order to save his native land from the evil Venomous Drool. Together with his new pall Bill, who is just an average goofy, powerless, yet well-meaning kid, Fangbone uses his wits to defeat his enemies while discovering how to live in the modern world.

No details have been provided regarding voice cast, producers, or even the release date at the moment.
