Rainbow recently signed a partnership deal with Lisle Licensing in order to help grow a new music-driven animated property titled 44 Cats. The series consists of 52 x 13 episodes, and will cover the U.K. territory. 44 Cats already debuted last March 4 on Nick Jr., and its momentum will see it debut on more platforms. PopTV is confirmed as one of these new partners, listing 44 Cats for premiere in September.
44 Cats originally debuted in Italy last November, garnering record-breaking ratings and attracting legions of fans with its cute and musical themes tackling important subjects such as tolerance, diversity, and altruism. The series combines positive values with cute character designs and the perfect blend of action and comedy. It also helps that the series offers sophisticated CGI production targeted towards preschoolers.
“We are delighted to be working with Rainbow on 44 Cats. It is exciting to see so many first-class licensees already on board with the license, and we can’t wait to get to work. It will be a fantastic addition to our portfolio,” says Francesca Lisle, Licensing Director of Lisle Licensing.
Rainbow’s Head of CP Sales, Matteo Olivetti, commented, “We are thrilled to be working with Lisle Licensing and look forward to bringing the enthralling energy of 44 Cats to the U.K.”
