Rilu Rilu Fairilu TV Anime Debuts on February 6

Sanrio and Sega Toy’s Rilu Rilu Fairilu anime series is slated for a February 6, 2016 debut. According to the official website, it will air on TV Tokyo every Saturday at 9:30 in the morning. Aside from TV Tokyo, it will also be seen on TV Aichi, TV Hokkaido, TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting and TV Osaka.

The character designs are revealed on the website for the 4 main Flower Fairilu as well as the 3 Legend Fairilu. The anime is directed by Sakura Gojō at Studio DEEN (Jewelpet: Magical Change). The series composition is going to be handled by Aya Matsui (Tamagotchi!, Dragon Ball GT, Marmalade Boy) while the character design is by Jinshichi Yamaguchi.

Fairilu are fairies of mermaids, insects, flowers or other creatures that are born from Fairilu Seeds. They are born with their own key and each should search to locate and open their own corresponding doors, which are connected to the human world. They need to pass through their doors in order to mature.
The project also includes books, merchandise, events and a game. It will launch with accessories, bags, stationary and other products from Sanrio in March 2016.
