Ruckus to Release 3 iPad Apps Based on Dino Dan
Ruckus Media Group has recently unveiled plans to release 3 English language storybook apps based on Sinking Ship Entertainment’s Dino Dan TV Series, which airs daily in the US via Nick Jr. The storybook apps use Ruckus’ own mobile iReader for iOS based devices (such as the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad), which can be downloaded for free via the app store.
The Dino Dan storybooks are targeted towards K4 to 8 readers, and focuses on dinosaurs while exploring various scientific methods that can be used to identify and solve problems in everyday life. Additionally, the app also provides parents with a digital report card that will let them see their kids’ improvement, particularly with regards to reading and comprehension.
The Dino Dan Ruckus iReader apps are compliant with the age appropriate standards determined by the Common Core State Standards, and reinforce national educational standards for preschool through the second grade.
UPDATE: the Dino Dan iReaders are now available for download through iTunes. You can also download DINO RACE free for iPad at http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/dino-dan-ruckus-reader/id527836872?mt=8.
