Sailor Moon Launches First Official Mobile App, Sailor Moon Drops

The official Sailor Moon website ( has recently revealed the first ever mobile app based on the long-running franchise. We’re talking official, of course. God knows there are hundreds of fly by night devs pumping out shoddy apps based on popular anime franchises.

Scheduled for a fall or summer release, the mobile app is titled Sailor Moon Drops and will be available for both the iOS and Android platforms. The game will be a puzzle game and will be free to play, supported by microtransactions. If you’re interested in getting in early, pre-registration is already going on at the official page ( although we’re not sure if it’s open to all territories or region-locked like many apps based on an anime license.
