New Season of Mia and Me Announced
M4e and Hahn Film has recently unveiled plans for a second season of the extremely popular mixed live-action/CG animated series Mia and Me. The 2nd season is said to consist of 26 brand new episodes and is scheduled for delivery in 2014/2015. The production is helmed by m4e and Hahn Film joint venture Lucky Punch, with help from Rainbow and March Entertainment.
Mia and Me tells the story of the eponymous Mia, who is a 12 year old that found herself magically transported to the beautiful world of Centopia, which is full of elves, unicorns, dragons, and other creatures of fantasy and magic.
As it turns out, Centopia is in danger because an Evil Queen named Panthea wants to capture all the unicorns and harness their magic in order to keep herself young forever. The resistance comes from the valiant elves led by Prince Mo and brave warrior Yuko. Mia herself helps defend against Panthea, due to her unique ability to communicate with the unicorns.
Mia and Me alternates between Mia’s normal life, which is in live action and has her dealing with trying to fit in at her new school, and her life as a fairytale elf, which is rendered in CGI and has her being the key to saving Centopia.
