Sid the Science Kid Makes His Way to the Big Screen
Kidtoon Films has teamed up with Ncircle Entertainment in order to bring the TV episodes of Sid the Science Kid to the big screen throughout this month, as part of the Kidtoons kid/family aimed matinee program held at over 120 plus movie theaters all over the country.
Sid the Science Kid is a 30 minute CG animated show from The Jim Henson Company that focuses on the titular character, Sid, who is a naturally inquisitive kid fond of using humor to tackle questions that youngsters have about basic scientific principles, namely – why things work the way they do. Sid The Science Kid currently airs weekdays on PBS Kids.
Kidtoons will also be conducting blogger and theater giveaway programs that will include free movie tickets and Sid the Science Kid DVDs all throughout May on their Facebook, Twitter, and Kidtoons blogger network. For more details, you can check out their page on www.pbskids.org/sid
