Silent Voice Anime Movie is Set for Fall 2016

Shochiku has presented a list of films projected for 2016 and 2017 on its movie news website. The production and distribution company lists a series of anime adaptations including the highly praised manga ‘A Silent Voice’ to be released for fall 2016. In addition, the new vampire action manga adaptation ‘Higanjima is also included for fall.

The manga ‘A Silent Voice’ is by Yoshitoki Oima, which is about Shoya, a boy who can hear and Shoko, a girl who cannot. The anime theatrical film is going to be directed by Naoko Yamada (K-On!) while the animation is going to be provided by Kyoto Animation. The film will be distributed in Japan by Shochiku.
