Simon & Schuster to Launch Teletubbies Book Line
DHX Media’s IP management arm DHX Brands has recently teamed up with Simon & Schuster Publishing in order to launch a new line of books based on the Teletubbies. The partnership was brokered by CPLG North America. Under the deal, the new Teletubbies books will be published under the Simon Spotlight imprint.
The Teletubbies books from Simon & Schuster is part of a series of new Teletubbies licensing deals. Other deals include six new licensing deals struck for North America, as well as a global home entertainment distribution deal inked with Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. The deal covers both physical and digital formats for the series.
The new and improved Teletubbies series is also making waves on small screens via Nick Jr. in the US and Family Jr. in Canada.
