Simon’s Cat Reaches 1 Million Youtube Subscribers
Simon Tofield’s cute, black-and-white animated series Simon’s Cat has reached a milestone – 1 million total Youtube subscribers. This places Tofield’s hit webseries in a very exclusive club, as there’s only 8 UK Youtube channels so far that has reached the 1 million subscriber mark.
In Simon’s Cat’s case, the feat is all the more impressive considering that the channel only contains 23 videos at the moment. It currently has the lowest number of videos out of all the channels that have been part of the Global Top 100 Channels on Youtube/
“I’m really happy that Simon’s Cat continues to entertain so many people,” says Tofield. “And I’m extremely grateful for the massive support the fans have given me and the team since we started on YouTube.”
Simon’s Cat originally debuted back in 2008, as it tells the story of a hungry house cat who relies on heavy-handed tactics in order to get his owner to feed him.
