As part of a new deal struck by Channel 5 and Nerd Corps, the new animated action comedy series Slugterra has recently premiered on Channel 5 in the UK, fresh off the series’ successful premiere on Disney XD last March. There are currently 39 x 22 minute episodes available for the series, but more has been promised.
In support of SlugTerra, Jakks Pacific has launched a new product line consisting of blasters, dart packs, and collectible slug figures launched at Smyth’s, Toys”R”Us and The Entertainer, along with additions to the toy line in fall/winter 2013. Smyth’s are also on-air sponsors for the series on Disney XD.
