Spielberg preps The Adventures Of Tintin: The Secret Of The Unicorn
We’re at just about 100 days until Steven Spielberg can bring Tintin back to the adventuring world in the upcoming 3D epic, The Adventures Of Tintin: The Secret Of The Unicorn. With some great help from producer Peter Jackson and a trio of writers (Steven Moffat, Edgar Wright and Joe Cornish) the adventure revives Georges “Hergé” Remi’s comic book creation with motion capture CG technology, taking cues from three classic tales; The Crab with the Golden Claws, The Secret of the Unicorn, and Red Rackham’s Treasure. As we approach the theatrical, IMAX, and RealD 3D release date of December 23rd, just a few days shy of Christmas, the hype train begins picking up steam with screen grabs, teaser trailers, and posters. Check out what we’ve got so far of the Nickelodeon Movies film!
The movie stars Tintin (Jamie Bell) an eager young reporter whose relentless pursuit of news and a good story pushes him to frequent adventures. Daniel Craig co-stars as the evil Red Rackham, with Andy Serkis, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Gad Elmaleh, Toby Jones, and Mackenzie Crook rounding out the cast.
