If you’ve ever watched any of the old 60s motion comics from Marvel (Captain America, Hulk, Fantastic Four), you’re well aware that while it has a certain appeal, the crude animation – sometimes made up of a single frame with only the mouth and an arm moving – were made that way to save on production costs. Now that producing full motion toons is easier, partly due to the use of computers, Motion Comics are still being made and supported. Such examples include the Animatrix, Assassin’s Creed: Ascendance, Thor & Loki: Blood Brothers, and the newly released Street Fighter: The New Challengers.

Street Fighter: The New Challengers follows the stories of various street fighters; Ryu as he once again treks around the world in hopes of finding other fighters to challenge, Cammy as she seeks more clues to her past, Chun Li as she investigates Shadaloo’s connections in Hong Kong’s seedy underworld, Vega as he tries to get his revenge on Ken, and many other familiar faces from the Street Fighter universe.

The Street Fighter: New Challengers Motion Comic DVD is produced by Eagle One Media and is now available in Walmart stores and a number of online retailers such as

Neil Raymundo

A cowardly and treacherous Toonbarn blogger who can transform into a McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle. Secretly wants to replace Toonbarn Rob as leader of the Decepticons.
