Sunny Bunnies Season 2 Shines on Disney
The second shiny season of Media I.M.’s animated preschool series Sunny Bunnies will be airing on Disney Channel and Disney Jr. This is in addition to more than 160 territories that are already airing the Belarus-produced series worldwide.
The Sunny Bunnies are described as a quintet of beaming balls that can appear anywhere where there is a source of light. Episodes consist of the creatures providing light, fun, and games to a different location while embarking on mischievous adventures.
“Sunny Bunnies has had an amazing journey since 2016 when we have first launched it internationally,” says Media I.M. co-founder Maria Ufland. “Disney’s belief and support for the series has been unwavering and is a huge endorsement to the brand. We are extremely excited that the show will soon be available to even broader kid’s audiences in the Middle East, Brazil and Estonia, which is a huge credit to the international appeal of this show and proves that it is developing to become a truly global brand.”
Additionally, the rights to season two (which consists of 26 x 3.5 mins) was secured by Sky Kids for their app service, covering the U.K. and Ireland. Nordic streaming service Viaplay also acquired seasons one and two for Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland.
Other media entities that have picked up both seasons of Sunny Bunnies include MBC in the Middle East and North Africa. Brazilian kid’s app Play Kids has also extended their rights deal with Media I.M. in order to continue providing the first season of the show to Latin America, while extending the reach to North America, and Europe.
