Superman: Unbound preview clip released by Warner Bros.

Superman: Unbound

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has just released the first official
clip from SUPERMAN: UNBOUND, the next entry in the popular series of
DC Universe Animated Original Movies.

The clip features Superman’s first encounter with Brainiac, a
destructive force who has been devastating planets across the galaxy –
with Earth next in his sights. Matt Bomer (“White Collar”) provides
the voice of Superman opposite John Noble (“Fringe,” “The Lord of the
Rings” films) as the voice of Brainiac. The film also features the
voices of “Castle” stars Stana Katic as Lois Lane and Molly Quinn as
Supergirl.

We are excited to see Warner Bros. newest take on Superman, because from this clip, it looks like the Superman we know and love. The animation is crisp and the voices are spot-on for this story. We can’t wait to see the whole thing and provide a review for you on ToonBarn.

Produced by Warner Premiere, DC Entertainment and Warner Bros.
Animation, SUPERMAN: UNBOUND film arrives May 7, 2013 from Warner
Bros. Home Entertainment as a Blu-ray™ Combo Pack, DVD, On Demand and
for Digital Download.

I am a Big Fan of all types of animation. Like a lot of things, the cream always rises to the top. My favorites have included Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Rebels, anything Pixar, Phineas and Ferb, Voltron Legendary Defender, and the DC/WB Animated Films. I have a lot of Old School favorites as well, such as Star Blazers, Voltron, Looney Toons, Tom & Jerry, and Scooby Doo.
