Supernoobs officially set for second season

We knew about it through DHX’s production catalog, but the company has officially announced a second Supernoobs season. The animated comedy from Scott Fellows, the creator of Johnny Test, has had an additional 26 episode order from DHX’s Family Channel in Canada. The second season will also air on Cartoon Network in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and in Asia Pacific. The show is produced by DHX Studios Vancouver.

In season two of Supernoobs (26×22’), it’s more super chillin’, more super villains and more super battle ball action, as the Supernoobs begin to master their powers! Noob training is almost complete, and the superhero team is ready to take on Count Venamus and the Creators with a new attitude, new powers and all new episodes! But it won’t be easy: The Creators have stepped up their game since realizing Earth may be hiding a secret ancient weapon that could wipe out the space virus. Count Venamus and his new super-tough Mech-Army are ready to destroy the hidden Earth power – and the Supernoobs – unless they can defeat him first.

DHX recently signed a deal to stream the first season on Hulu in the United States. The series previously aired in the country on Cartoon Network, but they are noticeably absent from the show’s second season announced. In its native Canada, Supernoobs originally aired on Teletoon.

For any American fans reading this, where would you like to see the series land in your country? What kind of hijinks are Supernoobs super-fans looking forward to seeing in the second season? Leave a comment down below!
