Teletoon Canada Welcomes Masha and the Bear
Masha and the Bear, the award-winning animated family series has made its debut on Canadian broadcast, launching on September 10 on Corus Entertainment’s Teletoon network. The series has been a success with European television audiences and is also available in North America in Netflix.
The main objective Masha and the Bear is to entertain children and adults by following Masha, the bright little girl and Bear, her best friend and retired circus star together with a bunch of friendly animals on their adventure through the forest. The series highlights values of loyalty, creativity and friendship.
Created by Oleg Kuzovkov and produced by Animaccord Animation Studio, Masha and the Bear now has 26 new episodes set for delivery in mid 2018. In 2015, the series was named one of Animag’s TV Shows Destined to be Classics. It airs all over the world and has produced more than 19 billion views on YouTube for its 2 available seasons, with the Recipe for Disaster episode generating more than 1 billion views alone, which makes it one of the platform’s top 10 most-viewed videos.
