The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar Debut Gets Top Rankings

The November 22 premiere of Disney Junior’s The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar managed to rank as the no.1 primetime cable TV Telecast of 2015 among kids aged 2 to 5 years old (1.4 million/9.3 rating) as well as the no. 2 overall year-to-date in the target demographic. The special also managed to snag the top spot among animated telecasts across kid cable-TV networks for total viewers (5.4 million), Adults 18-49 (1.8 million) and Kids aged 2 – 11 (2.6 million.)

The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar special serves as the lead-in for the actual Lion Guard series, which is scheduled to premiere in early 2016 and globally through 2017 on Disney and Disney Junior channels.
