The Lorax his theaters

Universal and Illumination Entertainment are working together to bring us another Dr. Seuss film, The Lorax. Previously, the two partnered on Horton Hears a Who, which came out in 2008. This time, they’ll be created an environmentally-themed CG animated tale in 3D, for a release in 2012 on March 2nd – the good doctor’s birthday. The Lorax was first animated as a TV special in 1972, produced by DePatie-Freleng Enterprises. Now, 40 years later, the story will be re-introduced to the world of toons.
