Brazil’s very own version of Comic Con, CCXP, has become ground zero for TOEI president Kozo Morishita’s latest Saint Seiya-related announcement. The announcement reveals that there are a couple of film projects planned for the iconic shounen series, along with a “secret project.”
Outside of the mysterious secret project, the other two planned films are also notable. One is said to be CG animated, while the other one will be a live-action adaptation. The staff for both films is said to be handpicked from within TOEI, with Saint Seiya creator Masami Kurumada being consulted as to the release schedule of the projects, with the goal of sustaining the momentum built by the show’s late 2000 return.
