A trailer has been released to introduce Deadman Wonderland’s replacement on Cartoon Network’s Toonami programming block. Entitled Samurai 7, the show is a sci-fi anime that traces its roots from Akira Kurasawa’s 1954 film Seven Samurai. The show has already seen some measure of success when it was released in North America by FUNimation back in 2006.
Samurai 7 will premiere on August 19th at 12:30 AM, and will continue to air every Saturday at the same time slot.
