A ToonBarn Comic-Con International Preview

Downtown San Diego comes alive July 8th – July 12th for 2015 Comic-Con International and once again, Marc Morrell will be attending to bring ToonBarn readers up close and personal with the voice actors and production crews behind their favorite cartoon characters and shows.

We hit the ground running Thursday by interviewing some of the cast and crew of Scooby-Doo! And KISS: Rock and Roll Mystery, which is scheduled to be released on Digital HD 7/10/2015. Scooby, Shaggy and the rest of the “Mystery, Inc.” gang meet up with the members of KISS at ‘KISS World’ to save the Earth from the Crimson Witch.

Watch for interviews with the cast and crew of Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Cartoon Network’s Teen Titans Go, Adult Swim’s Robot Chicken, plus Seth MacFarlane’s newest project, “Bordertown”, and Stoopid Buddy Studio’s newest stop-motion animated show, “SuperMansion”.

We’ll also go behind the scenes of Justice League: Gods & Monsters, Batman Unlimited: Monster Mayhem, and LEGO DC Super Heroes Justice League: Attack of the Legion of Doom, and provide coverage of the Man of Action Panel (New ‘Ben 10’ Reboot coming!) and Marvel Animation Panel.

Finally, our Con coverage wouldn’t be complete without coverage of a LEGO Game or two, so watch for panels with the creators of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes and LEGO Marvel’s Avengers.

Stay “tooned” and watch ToonBarn daily for Comic-Con International pictures and overviews of each day’s events.

Marc Morrell

I am a Big Fan of all types of animation. Like a lot of things, the cream always rises to the top. My favorites have included Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Rebels, anything Pixar, Phineas and Ferb, Voltron Legendary Defender, and the DC/WB Animated Films. I have a lot of Old School favorites as well, such as Star Blazers, Voltron, Looney Toons, Tom & Jerry, and Scooby Doo.
