Ben 10: Ultimate Alien (USA)
Ben 10: Ultimate Alien is an American animated television series – the third incarnation of Cartoon Network’s Ben 10 franchise created by team “Man of Action” (a group consisting of Duncan Rouleau, Joe Casey, Joe Kelly, and Steven T. Seagle), and produced by Cartoon Network Studios.
The plot follows on from Ben 10: Alien Force; set one year after the events of the last series. The Omnitrix has been destroyed, and Ben must learn to master the secrets of the new Ultimatrix, a gauntlet-like version of the old Omnitrix that not only gives him access to all of his original powers and abilities, but also allows him to evolve his alien forms into even stronger and more powerful versions (called “ultimate forms”).
However, in the premiere episode, “Fame”, a young ten-year-old fan named Jimmy Jones deduces Ben’s secret identity and reveals it to the world. Ben becomes an overnight celebrity, hailed by kids as a hero but distrusted by most adults as a possible threat. With Gwen, Kevin, Julie, and Grandpa Max still at his side, Ben continues to battle alien threats to the galaxy, including finding five aliens that were attacked and kidnapped by an Osmosian villain named Aggregor. Their names were Bivalvan, Galapegus, P’andor, Andreas, and Ra’ad. After Aggregor captured and fused with all five aliens, he began searching for the Map of Infinity to go to the Forge of Creation and absorb the vastly limitless God/cosmic-like powers of Celestialsapiens.
Later Kevin becomes once again a main antagonist to the Ben 10 series after he is forced to absorb energy from the Ultimatrix and goes insane with tremendous energy and power, but is shown that he does still have a good human heart, and still does care, and that he has not gone completely evil. Kevin is eventually returned to normal and Aggregor’s actions are reversed.
The second season features more self-contained stories rather than employing an overall storyline, although a real storyline is developing with the appearance of the mysterious but dangerous Sir George and the extra-dimensional demon called “Diagon”.
After the defeat of Vilgax who absorbed the powers of Diagon to become more powerful, Azmuth appears to ask Ben to give his sword and the Ultimatrix back, giving Ben the new & improved version of the omnitrix.
The Good Guys:
Benjamin “Ben” Kirby Tennyson (Voiced by Yuri Lowenthal) – At sixteen years old, Ben now wields the immensely strong and powerful Ultimatrix. After his identity was revealed, children and teenagers adore him, while adults view him with suspicion. Due to his intense fame, he comes off as a little cocky and rude in the first few episodes. However, in this series, Ben is in places he has never been before; such as the “Forge of Creation”.
Gwendolyn “Gwen” Catherine Tennyson (Voiced by Ashley Johnson) – At sixteen years old, Gwen is still the level-headed one of the superpowered trio. Continuing to refine the use of both her natural Anodite and magical powers, which both appear to have greatly strengthened and magnified over the past year, Gwen is shown to be a valued member of the team. She also shows deep romantic affection and infatuation towards Kevin.
Kevin Ethan Levin (Voiced by Greg Cipes) – At seventeen years old, Kevin continues to be the arrogant and trouble-making member of the group. Despite questionable antics, Kevin excels far more often, proving to be a true and loyal friend now that he has learned from his past mistakes. After his Omnitrix mutation was cured, Kevin regained his original Osmosian powers and abilities to absorb all numerous types of energy and matter. He can copy any matter he absorbs into an armor. Moreover, learning from his experience, Kevin is also able to temporarily absorb extra mass to greatly strengthen and augment his powers and abilities even further and shapeshift his limbs into makeshift tools and weapons. He can also morph or fuse together the object he absorbed, and he is shown to be able to temporarily transform an object into any matter he has absorbed as long as he remains in contact with the object. He now owns a modified Plumber spaceship in addition to his car.
The Bad Guys:
Aggregor (Voiced by John DiMaggio) – A mysterious Osmosian who kidnapped five aliens (Bivalvan, Andreas, P’andor, Ra’ad, and Galapagus) from the Andromeda Galaxy, who then escaped from his ship to Earth. Now he is hunting them down one by one, intent on draining their powers to obtain what he calls “the ultimate prize” which eventually turns him into Ultimate Aggregor. Aggregor currently serves as the main antagonist in season 1, searching for the Map of Infinity which can give the user its power to travel anywhere in seventeen dimensions. In “The Forge of Creation” he is defeated by Kevin Levin who absorbs all of the abilities of the five aliens. It’s confirmed that Aggregor was arrested by the Plumbers after the two-part first season finale “Absolute Power”.
Diagon (Voiced by John DiMaggio) – An extradimensional squid-like alien who has enslaved 100 dimensions. He tried to enslave Earth and the universe at large but was sealed away by the first knight Sir George after he cut out the beast’s heart. In the episode “The Creature From Beyond”, after Forever Knight Sir Reginald drilled a small crack through the seal, The Diagon sends a Lucubra into Earth to enslave a few humans who of which formed the Flame Keeper’s Circle while under The Diagon’s influence.
Vilgax (Voiced by James Remar) – Vilgax returns as Ben’s main enemy again. He pretends to serve Diagon so that he can gain all of Diagon’s powers.

Totally Spies! (France)
Totally Spies! is an Anime-influenced television series produced by the French company Marathon Production. Production began in 2001; in 2008 the show ran its fifth season. A movie based on the show aired in France on July 22, 2009. In December 2011, it was announced that a sixth season is currently in production and is scheduled to air in 2013.
Totally Spies! features the adventures and missions of three teenage spies (Sam, Alex, and Clover) led by the founder and administrator of WOOHP (World Organization of Human Protection), Jerry.
WOOHP uses cutting-edge technology and highly skilled agents to fight crime and diffuse humanitarian crises all over the world. Its headquarters is located in Downtown Los Angeles. The building itself has been shown to be in the shape of a W.
Clover, Sam, and Alex are their top three superspies, frequently called in to solve the most difficult cases worldwide. When he needs them, Jerry can “WOOHP” them to his office at the press of a button from wherever they might be. This is usually done via vacuum tunnels that lead to the office, but they have also been blasted to their destination via rocket ship, teleported, picked right off the freeway via helicopter, and scooped up by a passing train. On missions, Jerry provides the spies with information, analyzes clues, and occasionally steps in to give them a hand.
In season three, Jerry added the computer system G.L.A.D.I.S. (Gadget Lending And Distributing Interactive System) to help him run his office but GLADIS tends to have a mind of her own. GLADIS has been met with a fair share of hostility from fans, which claim that because she now distributes the gadgets she tends to reduce Jerry to a subordinate role in WOOHP, even though he is the founder and administrator. After two seasons, GLADIS was written off the show in season five as having been deactivated due to its attitude.
W.O.O.H.P. is shown to actually have four branches, in America, Europe, Australia and Antarctica. It was revealed to have a sister organization: W.O.O.A.P., the World Organization of Animal Protection.
Samantha “Sam” – (Seasons 1–6, including the movie): Sam has long, wavy red hair. She has green eyes that match her spy outfit. She is the most intelligent, responsible, and practical of the girls; she is serious, worries a lot and is an athlete. She likes reading a good book along with being an outdoors kind of girl. Her favorite color is green and purple, according to episode “The Granny”. She can play the accordion (her ability was taken from, then returned to her in “Scam Camp, Much?”). Her mother’s name is Gabby (short for Gabrielle). Gabby is near identical to her daughter.
Clover – (Seasons 1–6, including the movie): She has medium-short, blonde hair with blue eyes. She wears a red catsuit. Clover is a boy-crazy, shopaholic, only slightly conceited, fashion fanatic. She always knows the latest trends and always makes sure she looks good. Mandy is her rival. Their constant fighting about the simplest things is a source of comic relief in the show. She goes through many boys in the show, and she cares deeply about fashion and designer paraphernalia. She greatly resembles her mother, Stella. Clover sometimes comes across as rude, but is always there for her friends.
Alexandra “Alex” – (Seasons 1–6, including the movie): Alex has short black hair styled in a bob. She is half white on her father’s side, and her mother appears to be Afro-hispanic. Alex’s spy outfit is yellow-orange. Despite her clumsiness when it comes to gadgets, Alex excels in athletics — particularly in soccer, her favorite sport. She is funny and always there for her friends. Though she is somewhat of a tomboy compared to Clover and Sam, Alex is just as eager when it comes to fashion and boys. She has a toy turtle named Ollie, who she identifies as her “bestest friend”. Her favorite color is yellow as it said a two-part episode adventure called, “Like, So Totally Not Spies”. Alex resembles her mother, Carmen, more than her father (Alex is the only character to have her father make an appearance on the show).
Gerald “Jerry” Lewis – (Seasons 1–6, including the movie): He is the founder and administrator of W.O.O.H.P. (World Organization of Human Protection). He is a middle-aged, very serious British gentleman. He finds means of transporting the girls to their headquarters (even if it upsets them – they get their vengeance on him in a set of episodes about their trip to France when he is transported), briefs them on their missions, distributes their gadgets, and provides mission support with information or direct involvement. He often annoys the girls with his attitude and constant missions but when in danger the girls are there to help. It is also known that he has trouble keeping his spy identity a secret from his nosy mother, who has only been mentioned a few times in the season. Sam, Clover and Alex once noted that they don’t listen to anyone but Jerry, and usually they don’t even listen to him, but they all love him.
G.L.A.D.I.S – (Seasons 3–4) Gadget Lending And Distribution Interactive System. She appears to be very proud of her title and will often refuse to carry out odd jobs, stating that they are “beneath her”. This is proved to be a constant source of irritation for both the girls and Jerry. She is later shown to develop her own personality, expressing her own opinions and deliberately disobeying Jerry’s orders. She is even shown to be capable of taking up hobbies, such as magic. She takes up a motherly role for the girls, is shown to defy orders and add additions of her own, if she feels that it is best for the girl’s safety. In season 5, G.L.A.D.I.S. is sent to a recycling facility (in actuality, she was written out of the series almost entirely due to fan complaints). G.L.A.D.I.S.’s design is an homage to Shirka, a character nearly identical in appearance from the classic French-Japanese animation, Ulysse 31.
Katie Leigh as Alex (Seasons 1 and 2), Caitlin and Carmen
Katie Griffin as Alex (Seasons 3 to 6)
Jennifer Hale as Sam and Mandy
